Step 1 - Get organized.

Select the photos or slides to be used. Place a post-it note on the back of the photo listing the order you want it to be presented. Include the subject of the photo as well. If photos are in digital format then rename the file with subject and order of presentation. (i.e., Grandma Smith - 025.jpg)

If you'll be using your home movies we'll need to work with you to review what parts you want to use. Music selections can be burned to CD or sent to us via email.

Step 2 - Send us your media.

Photos and slides should be removed from photo albums or slide trays. Pack them between sheets of cardboard and ship them in a box to keep them well protected.

Step 3 - Review.

We'll let you review the project before we burn the final DVD so changes can be made if needed.

Step 4 - Tell all your friends how much you enjoy your finished slideshow or documentary from Two Suns!

Pre-production. Once we determine your project (slideshow or documentary), we work with you to organize how you'd like to present your story.

For slideshows we'll plan which photos to use, what order to present them, what titles you'd like, songs, etc.

For documentaries, we'll develop a storyboard to help outline the pace and direction of your film. Photos, slides, home movies, and music will be selected. We'll make arrangements for on-camera interviews. We schedule one to two hours of filming per subject. (Note: Two Suns camera crews geographically limited to Michigan and surrounding states at this time unless other arrangements can be made)

Post-production. This is where the fun really starts. We'll begin the process of cutting together your story. Once we have a first draft, we'll schedule time to sit down and review the film with you so you can make any necessary changes. We want you to be happy with the finished product so it's important to have your input at this level.

After the final draft is approved, we burn, print, package, and finally ship your completed DVD project to you, along with any photos or other media used.
